Is it safe to use C L R remover on the inside of a iron skillet to remove a small amount of rust? - �c�����������l����������

I have a cast iron frying pan in my basment and wonder how to safely cook.

Yes CLR uses the metal iron, only metal compounds. It should also wash the pan thoroughly, remove the remaining CLR. (Do not use aluminum pans CLR).

Clean with a brush and water w / baking soda enough to make a paste.
Rinse and dry.
Well, the season pan to keep food from, depends on:

Rub a little oil of good quality from the kitchen to the inside of the pan
Bake at 350 degrees for one hour.
Turn the oven, and viola! Ready to use!
Never leave an iron pan, if you can not wash immediately after use to dry overnight, then wipe it w / baking soda.
Iron pans I use exclusively, and they are actually much better taste the food.
